Making a purchase from any of our Tierra Bulk Foods Market Stalls, our Burleigh Heads Retail Store or placing an order on the Tierra Bulk Foods website signifies your acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions.

When ordering online, it’s essential to keep your account details up to date. Any changes to your information must be updated through our site, or you can contact us for updates. We are not responsible for errors in delivery or transactions that occur due to incorrect information provided.
Tierra Bulk Foods regards registration information as private. You are responsible for the safekeeping of your username and password. We are not liable for any unauthorized use of your username and password.
PRICING
At Tierra Bulk Foods, we are dedicated to offering high-quality products at competitive prices. Prices can change frequently, and our website is updated regularly to reflect price changes from our suppliers. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.
The prices displayed on the website may differ from those in our stores.
When purchasing liquids (such as oils and personal care products) online, the price shown includes the packaging. However, in-store prices reflect only the liquid itself, with the option to purchase or bring your own container.

ALLERGEN ALERT
Despite our careful packing procedures, products sold on our website may have been packed in facilities containing allergens or their by-products, such as peanuts, nuts, seeds, soy, eggs, bee products, gluten, wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, dairy, fish, crustacea, and more.
We work with growers, producers and manufacturers to ensure proper hygiene and cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination, but these measures are beyond our control.
Allergen and nutritional information on our website should be viewed as a best-effort attempt to serve our customers, not a guarantee.
REFUND POLICY FOR ONLINE ORDERS
We aim for 100% customer satisfaction with our products and services. Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order if you receive a damaged product or incorrect item. A photo of the damaged item(s) is required. Proof of purchase is necessary for a full refund of the product. We may request the item be returned before issuing a refund or replacement, and in some cases, return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
We strive to refund the product amount or replace it in your next order and resolve any issues promptly.
ONLINE ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to change or cancel an online order, please contact us immediately. We will try to accommodate your request if the order has not been processed. Orders are processed quickly, so the window for changes or cancellations is brief.
If you make a mistake when ordering, contact us immediately. If your order has not been packed or dispatched, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
REFUND POLICY FOR IN-STORE PURCHASES
As we sell bulk food, we cannot control how food is stored once it leaves our climate-controlled conditions. Therefore, we do not accept returns for change of mind, mistaken purchase, or unwanted gifts.
You are entitled to an exchange for packaged and sealed food products purchased in-store if they are not fit for their usual purpose or of acceptable quality, provided you return them within 7 days with proof of purchase.
For merchandise items found to be faulty, we will offer an exchange or refund within 30 days with the original receipt.
To claim under our Returns Policy, return the item to the Tierra Bulk Foods store where you made the original purchase. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
PACKAGING
Tierra Bulk Foods is committed to environmental sustainability. Most of our items are sold without conventional packaging.
We minimize waste and plastic use, but it is important to ensure your goods arrive safely. Tierra Bulk Foods is a business that is committed to reducing its impact on the environment, and while we take our responsibility seriously, we can’t always meet our own best intentions.
Cleaning liquids and some personal care products are sent in recyclable or reusable plastic containers for safety. Honey, cooking liquids, and oils are sent in glass jars/bottles.
By ordering from this site, you agree to our packaging methods. We constantly strive to reduce waste and improve our processes.
GIFT VOUCHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Gift vouchers purchased in Tierra Bulk Foods Market Stalls and our Burleigh Heads Retail store can be used in any Tierra Bulk Foods Market Stall or at our Burleigh Heads Retail Store but cannot be redeemed online.
Gift vouchers do not need to be fully redeemed in one transaction. An updated voucher will be provided for the remaining amount.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or another voucher and are non-refundable.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
We do our best to keep our website updated with current stock levels. However, stock levels change frequently, and there may be unforeseen supplier delays.
If a product you order online is unavailable, we will notify you via email and offer a refund or replacement.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Rainchecks are not available on advertised stock.
MISSING ITEMS
If an item is missing from your online order and you have not been notified it is out of stock, please notify us within 48 hours. Email a copy or image of your invoice for the funds to be credited to your account for your next purchase or a full refund. Check your order against the invoice as soon as it arrives.
We cannot issue refunds, replacements, or store credits for missing or damaged items reported more than 48 hours after delivery.
DELIVERY
When you receive an order from our online store, anyone at the delivery address who accepts the order is presumed authorised to receive the goods. Ensure the delivery address is accurate; we are not responsible for damage or loss due to incorrect addresses.
We use third-party couriers, so some delivery issues are beyond our control. We strive for prompt dispatch and will work with you and the courier to locate your goods if there is an issue.
Some products (like chocolate) are sensitive to weather. Store all goods in a cool, dark place. We cannot guarantee the condition of goods during freight if they are not unpacked and stored correctly within a few hours. Do not leave your order outdoors for long periods. We are not responsible for theft or spoilage if you are not home to receive your order.
Orders without delivery instructions will be left at the front door or the safest place if no one is home. We are not responsible for loss or damage after delivery to your address.
If you prefer to sign for your package, note this in the delivery instructions/comments section. The driver will not leave your order without a signature. If no one is home to sign, we are not responsible for items that perish due to return to the courier depot.
Tierra Bulk Foods is not responsible for loss or damage due to delays or inability to deliver caused by events beyond our control, such as fire, floods, strikes, or other unavoidable circumstances. Our delivery period will be extended correspondingly in such cases.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We may change our terms and conditions at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the website. You agree to be bound by these changes and should check them regularly to stay informed.
